Victor was the much-loved husband of the late Matilda Chellathurai and the eldest son of the late Mr and Mrs Manuelpillai“Veerakesari” Thambypillai and the Son-in-Law of the late Mr and Mrs SellappaChellathurai.

Beloved brother of the late Peter, Xavier (Canada), Lalitha (UK), the late Rajan, the late Thanabalan and the late Rathinee.

Brother-in-Law of the late Philomin, Amala (Canada), Raji (France), the late Yuvakumar, Rani Murugupillai (UK) and Charles Chellathurai (UK).

Uncle Victor will be deeply missed by his beloved nieces and nephews, family, relatives, friends and parishioners.

It was Uncle Victor’s wish that no floral tributes be provided.Instead of flowers, you are welcome to donate to the One Child Foundation in memory of Victor and Matilda Fontgalland. The foundation is dedicated to the welfare of underprivileged children in Sri Lanka.
